PUYALLUP CYCLOPATH 2015 RIDE SCHEDULE

April 11: Mowich Lake Road (Cyclocross/mountain bikes) (mostly gravel)

April 18: Mt Rainier’s Westside Road (Cyclocross/mountain bikes) (all gravel)

May 09: Carbon River Entrance to Mt. Rainier (Orting à South Prairie à Wilkeson à Carbonado à Carbon River Entrance à back) (~58 miles round trip)

May 23: Alder Lake Loop with “The Climb” option (Orting à Eatonville à Alder Lake à back)(~55 miles round trip; with “The Climb” option added ~65 miles)

June 06: Skate Creek Loop (near Ashford à Nisqually Entrance to Mt Rainier à Paradise à Box Canyon à Backbone Ridge à Ohanapecosh à Packwood à Skate Creek Road à back to where we started near Ashford)(~80 miles)

June 20: Leon’s Ride (Longmire à Paradise à Steven’s Canyon to Box Canyon à Backbone Ridge à east Ranger Station à Cayuse Pass à retrace path back to cars (second trip up to Paradise optional) (~80 mile s)

July 04: Triple-By-Pass (Top of Cayuse Pass à hwy #410 climb Chinook Pass à descend on hwy #410 to where it meets hwy #12 just before Naches à climb White Pass on hwy 12 à descend west side of White Pass à take hwy #123 up Cayuse Pass to cars) (~115 miles)

July 18: Sunrise Double/Triple Climb ( to Crystal Mountain à Sunrise turnoff à climb to Sunrise à descend –> climb to Sunrise again à back to Crystal Mountain starting point) (~ 50 miles or 70 miles depending on whether we climb Sunrise two or three times)

July 30: RAMROD (if we get in)

Aug 08: Quadruple-By-Pass (Turnoff to Crystal Mountain à Cayuse Pass à Chinook Pass à back down to Cayuse Pass à down south side of Cayuse Pass à climb to Backbone Ridge à back down to base of Cayuse Pass à up Cayuse Pass à down to cars (~65 – 80 miles??)

Aug 22: Windy Ridge (Mt St Helens) (Randle à Windy Ridge à Randle)(~65 miles; ~6000’ of climbing)

Sep 05: Mt. St. Helens (west side) (Tour de Blast route)

Sep 12: Vancouver to Whistler Gran Fondo (~70 miles)

Sep 26: North Cascades OR Hurricane Ridge Ride (to be determined)

** All rides are “weather permitting”; most rides scheduled on a Saturday with Sunday as a “back up” **
